An amazing line-up of local Lancashire businesswomen have been revealed as finalists in the 2025 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS) – the UK’s largest celebration of female entrepreneurship.

34 women from the Lancashire area have been commended for their entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and impact in both their communities and industries – 3 from West Lancashire. Overall, there are 144 finalists who have been chosen from a total of 1,450 nominations and entries. 20% of entrants this year turn over £1m+, and 5% exceed £10 million.

Each finalist must now take part in interviews with an independent judging panel, a public vote, and finally the national #EVAS2025 campaign. They will then be invited to take part in the EVAS Reception, taking place at the House of Commons in London.

The West Lancs Finalists are:

  • Alison Colley – Hope’s Therapy Dogs, Skelmersdale (Health & Wellbeing)
  • Charlotte Appleton – Dandelion Days EFL, Scarisbrick (Not For Profit)
  • Sheila Byrne – Hope Street Community Hub and Cafe, Ormskirk (Family Business)

We want to wish all finalists the best of luck – the final will be taking place at the Empress Ballrooms in the Blackpool Winter Gardens on Friday 26th September 2025.
