Having joined West Lancashire Borough Council in December 2014 Apprentice, Portia Taylor-Black has demonstrated just how much she brings to her role by becoming a finalist in numerous apprenticeship awards.
Celebrating her recent win at The National Apprenticeship Awards (Liverpool City Region, Cumbria and Lancashire) by receiving the ‘Nuclear Decommissioning Authority Site Licence Companies award for Higher or Degree Apprentice of the Year’. She will now have her entry sent for national judging in the running to feature in the prestigious awards to be held in London early next year.

Following this award Portia was also shortlisted as a finalist in the Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 Business Awards, to be held this evening, October 19th at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
