Congratulations to WWT Martin Mere, The Secret Garden Glamping and West Tower, Aughton, who are finalists in the annual Lancashire Tourism Awards, the only county-wide awards for tourism and hospitality businesses.

Marketing Lancashire have announced the comprehensive list of businesses who have reached the final stage of the Awards, which celebrate excellence across visitor economy businesses. Many of the county’s winners go on to represent Lancashire at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. Last year, The Secret Garden Glamping went on to win the ultimate gold award at the national awards after winning their category at the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2023.

WWT Martin Mere are finalists in the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism as well as in Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism categories.

The Secret Garden Glamping are finalists in the Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park category.

West Tower, Aughton, are finalists in the Wedding Venue category.

The Awards Ceremony will be held in February 2025, and in the run-up to this date, the finalists will progress through a number of stages including mystery shopping, announced visits and interviews with the independent Lancashire Tourism Award judges.
