HBD, part of Henry Boot, has secured a £37m industrial and logistics development in Skelmersdale. The scheme, known as TWO45, is primely located next to both the M6 and M58. HBD are bringing forward a 245,000 sqft unit; ideally suited for a single occupier within the distribution or manufacturing sector. The net zero carbon-enabled scheme, which is targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC rating of A, is already being marketed.
Ed Hutchinson, Managing Director of HBD, said:
Grade A industrial and logistics space remains constrained in prime locations, so it’s positive to be able to bring TWO45 forward. We have seen strong interest from occupiers, particularly given its ESG credentials, and look forward to starting on site next year.
Working with a £1.3bn development pipeline, HBD operates from six UK offices and places focus on large-scale industrial, logistics, urban development and residential projects. They have a number of schemes under way across the North West, including APTUS in Preston, which will deliver 800,000 sqft of sustainable industrial, manufacturing and logistics space.
