Congratulations to Tom Wood, engineering apprentice at Essity, Skelmersdale, for winning the 2023-2024 Apprentice of the Year by Waterside Training Limited.
Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company, and provides consumer goods, professional hygiene products as well as health and medical solutions. The Skelmersdale site produces paper for the company’s Tork brand and also houses a Training Academy.
This is the second year running for an Essity apprentice to win the Award, highlighting the company’s dedication in offering quality apprenticeship programmes and celebrating learning and development.
