Skelmersdale’s Greenshoots Development saw West Lancashire Borough Council demolish and redevelop a suite of units, from 4 large into 11 units of varying sizes, in the heart of Skelmersdale’s Industrial area.
With research showing that smaller units were in high demands this new development’s units were optimised between 1,300 sq ft to 2,140 sq ft.
With 3 units occupied on the day of completion in October 2016, and six months later over 75% of the floorspace occupied, the project is a great success. It achieved 100% occupation within ten months of handover and generates over £111,000 per annum, an 8.5% return on investment.
