Congratulations to the team (and dogs!) at Hope’s Therapy Dogs for their win at the BBC Radio Merseyside Make a Difference Awards 2024!
They won the Animal Award, which celebrates an animal that improves the life of either an individual or group of people, or, an individual or group working with animals to improve animal welfare. The Awards shine a light on people who are going above and beyond in their local communities.
Hope’s Therapy Dogs, based in West Lancashire, is an incredible service which supports children, young people and adults with therapy dogs, to help aid mental health and improve emotional and mental wellbeing. The Therapy Dogs are brought into schools and workplaces to help provide support and ease stress, and overall provide really positive and impactful work for the community.
