CPUK secures £6m Oldham housing contract

CPUK secures £6m Oldham housing contract

This is CPUK‘s fifth residential contract in a row won by the firm, which is now on site building 186 new homes on five North West sites worth a total of £30m.

This latest contract includes the build of 54 homes, including 9 apartments and 45 two and three storey properties on the Wellyhole site for Hale-based House Crowd Developments.

CPUK is also working for House Crowd on a 36-home residential development in Mossley in Tameside in a £5.3m negotiated project.

Also, in a successfully negotiated £5.4m contract with a repeat client, Newpark Group of Prestwich, CPUK is building 44 homes on redundant farmland off Crescent Road in Crumpsall.

The group is also on site in Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley, designing and building 30 new homes for Hillcrest Homes.

“It is fair to say the residential sector is buoyant. We’re continuing to see an increase in the number of homes being built across the region as developers rise to the challenge set by the government to step up the pace of house building.”
Steve Burke, Managing Director at CPUK

CPUK has also been chosen alongside property group Novo as a development partner to deliver the £6m regeneration of a car park site in Hale, Altrincham, which will feature 22 new homes and a multi-storey car park.

CPUK Group is one of the North West’s leading independent building and civil engineering companies with an annual turnover of £65m.
