Ambassadors support at West Lancashire College Careers Fair

A number of Skelmersdale Ambassadors have supported this year’s FutureU Interactive Careers & Progression Fair at West Lancashire College, Skelmersdale. The aim of the day was to educate and inspire pupils and students on their future careers. Ambassadors who supported on the day include:

Students and pupils from the local area and beyond had the opportunity to engage in activities with employers from a wide range of industries. The day was an opportunity for them to find out about new careers, talk about their future options and view a range of apprenticeships and job vacancies on offer.

“Young people are our future. It is important to The Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group to invest time to support the local community and students of West Lancashire. We enjoyed giving, supporting, allaying fears and offering guidance on the day.
“We hope many of the young people left with more confidence, less anxiety and more guided/direction towards their next steps, pursuing their chosen, possible careers.”
Lisa Fletcher from Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group

Over 1200 year 9 and 10 pupils plus 500 college students attended on the day.
