Edge Hill University’s new Catalyst set to open next year

Edge Hill University will soon be adding an extra building to their campus named Catalyst. It will cost £26 million to build, and is set to be complete in June 2018.

It is hoped that the University’s new multi-million pound building will house the library, careers and student services functions in the contemporary 8,000 square metre space.

The university hopes the new building will be an inspiring 24/7 destination for the Edge Hill community with welcoming, knowledgeable staff on hand to support student life, research, learning and career development.

The building will feature interactive, touch-screen technology and many of its services will be bookable online.

``Catalyst aims to provide the Edge Hill community with a convenient 24/7 destination and a new focal point on campus.``
Dr John Cater, Vice-Chancellor at Edge Hill University
