- Phil Lynas & Colin Hill from All About Food Ltd captured the room’s attention with an inspiring story of how their business has experienced continuous growth into a hugely successful business working with many household food brands, how they believe investing in their staff has positively impacted on their growth and how beneficial being based in Skelmersdale has been.
- Ian Perks, Business Development Director of Buffaload Logistics Ltd, known for their specialist double deck goods transportation shared his enthusiasm for their Skelmersdale location, which enabled them to efficiently reach the north of the country including Scotland due to the accessible transport network. This young company has experienced rapid growth over the past 5 years, with Ian also sharing his warmth for the Borough Council, who welcomed them to the area, something they had not experienced elsewhere.
