Making Sense of AI: a short course for SMEs

Are you a West Lancs based SME (small, medium enterprise)? Do you want to make sense of AI and learn how it can help you drive productivity and new revenue opportunities?

Edge Hill University are offered fully funded places on a new short course designed to better equip you to embrace AI and maintain competitiveness. On the course, you’ll gain an increased understanding and knowledge regarding the strategic and operational implications of integrating AI technologies into their business.

Course Delivery:

  • 3 x 2.5-hour morning sessions, over 3 weeks in September 2025
  • Location: Edge Hill University, St Helens Road, Ormskirk, L39 4QP

What you’ll cover:

  • How data literacy within an organisation is critical to leveraging AI technologies
  • The unique challenges posed to leadership teams by AI adoption
  • The effect of AI-driven innovation on the business model, with an emphasis on understanding its impact on service delivery and pricing strategies
